Discover the hidden treasures of God.

  • The great connection between affliction & the Word of God.
  • Do not always be laying again and again the same foundation of repentance. Move on to maturity, leaving behind the elementary message. Heb 6:1
  • Perfection starts with persecution | Pruning is done to bring out the best fruit.
  • The primary ministry that is needed is to, deny yourself, take your cross & follow him. Not other ministry is important that this.
  • This Study also discusses on the difference between the ministers of the old covenant and ministers of the new covenant.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are those who are persecuted (Mathew 5) Everyone sinned and lost the glory of God The glory of the new covenant is greater than the glory of the old covenant. This was the glory that left man when he sinned. But when the Holy Spirit comes, he will bring back the lost glory. There is a glory that you need to live at present time in the world, this glory will enable you to attain the eternal glory. God has graciously kept that great glory of Jesus Christ in these clay jars. (2 Cor 4:6) On the day of Pentecost, the promise of the latter temple was fulfilled. The evil one comes to steal and take out that glory away from you. But remember, God has already seated you in heaven with him. Persecution brings back the “Glory to Glory” Revelation 21:4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty, I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.” Righteous means – to do what is right. Psalm 97:2 states, “Clouds and darkness surround him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.” To be in God’s kingdom, you need to have these two, righteousness and justice. Psalms 45 says you need to love righteousness and hate evil. Note : This is not staying away from evil, but it says you need to hate evil. Jeremiah 33 : says His name is the God of Righteousness. We can see many who live righteous, even those who have no experience of salvation also live righteous. But their righteousness will not last long, they will fall apart. The Holy Spirit accompanied righteous will last forever, leading to eternal life. Titus 3:5 states, “he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.” Only the living will have hunger, not the dead. So it is very important to have life, and death shouldn’t be seen in you. Like a baby cries for milk, so will those on whom the Lord has shown mercy will thirst for righteousness. But there will be a few in the last days who will live otherwise, as mentioned in 2 Timothy 3, But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 10 Now the One who provides seed for the sower and bread for food will provide and multiply your seed and increase the harvest of your righteousness. Isaiah 55 says: 10 “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty. But will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it”. We gain Righteousness by these three:-

  • Romans 4:5 states, “And to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.”
  • Romans 5:9 states, “Since therefore we have now been made righteous by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God.”
  • Romans 5:19 states: “For just as through the disobedience of one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man the many will be made righteous.”

God walks us in the way of righteousness, Proverbs 12:28 – In the way of righteousness there is life; along that path is immortality. There is eternal life in him Paul says 2 Timothy 4:8 states, “Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.” Those who love His appearing means, are the people who always long to be with God’s presence and remain in Him.

Gods showed mercy to a man on Sabbath – Here in people’s heart mercy goes away and instead hardness of heart comes in. (Mark 3:5 describes Jesus healing a man with a withered hand in the synagogue on the Sabbath. He first looks at the religious leaders with anger and grief over their hardness of heart, before instructing the man to stretch out his hand, which is then restored). Psalm 78:38 speaks about God’s merciful nature. It highlights that despite the Israelites’ repeated sins and provocations, God, being compassionate, forgave their iniquities and did not destroy them. Instead, he restrained his anger and did not unleash his full wrath upon them. – Its Gods’ tendency to put away anger. For us, it’s hard to function in mercy. Many wordly people also show mercy. There is a difference between the Mercy of a believer and Mercy of a Non believer. A believer’s Mercy is Holy Spirit empowered Note : Forgiveness and Mercy go hand in hand. For a Man with mercy will be like :-

  • They will not be a hindrance to others and with not cause hindrance (In Matthew 17:27 The verse emphasizes avoiding offense to the tax collectors by finding a way to pay the tax.)
  • They will not fight (52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?)
  • They will not stand against, even when they know they are being cheated.
  • They will be liberal in giving

(Hebrew 13 says keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. 2 Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it).

  • They will have an attitude of Gratitude.
  • They will not have a Fake Love, their love will be true.
  • They will help without asking (In Luke 7 we see Jesus helped an old woman when she did not even ask for it).
  • They will not do anything for Pride.
  • Even though they know they are being cheated, they will still render help. (Few will give money knowing they won’t keep up the promise of returning it).
  • They will not be partial towards anyone.
  • They will not do evil for evil.

When you know you have received mercy from God, you will show mercy to others. 1 Peter 2:10 in the New Living Translation (NLT) reads: “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.” Matthew 18:33, in the context of the Parable of the Unmerciful Servant, asks, “Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you?” James 2:13 states that judgment will be without mercy for those who have not shown mercy, but mercy triumphs over judgment. His blood itself is the sign of the Greatest show of mercy. His mercy is for those who fear him. _ Cornelius’s mercy Acts (Acts 10 : 2 He and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly). Isaiah 43:12 states, “I have declared and have saved and have shown; yes, I am God, and there was no strange god among you. Therefore, you are My witnesses.” You and I are the witnesses of the great God of glory. So we need to live that way, Only your mercy with stand before you when you are being judged.
